魑魅魍魉

Five illustrations about different Mental Problems.
Chi Mei Wang Liang (魑魅魍魉) is named after four mythical spirits in Chinese folklore, each with distinct traits. In this project, I use them to represent four aspects of my own mental struggles. These states are not purely negative — they’ve helped me feel deeply, confront myself, and turn inner turbulence into artistic expression. Like the legends, they carry fear and meaning. Through this work, I hope to express that inner complexity can also be a source of strength.
